Bromeliad, Aechmea Pimenti-Velosoi, long stiff narrow leaves to about 2ft.,arching slightly at top,tiny harmless spines along edge of leaves.Very hardy, will take full sun (turns reddish in full light) or full shade ( becoming much paler and taller). Flower cone lasts for at least 6 months, bright red and cone-shaped with small gold-white flowers. Evenually the flowers turn into edible sweet juicy black berries with tough skins. 2-3 pups per year. Auction is for one pup up to 8" tall. Ask if more are required as I have quite a few
