How WaiTrade Works
Selling
The seller sets a “Reserve Price” and a “Buy Now” price. If you wish to let the auction run its course without the use of the “Buy Now” function then select a very high “Buy Now” price. We advise our members to include as much information in the description of the good for sale. Photographs are a great way to show people the condition of the good. There is no need to re-size your photos as our web site does this automatically.
If the bidding goes above the “Reserve Price” the seller is obligated to complete the sale and the associated success fee is deducted from your Waitrade account. Waitrade will provide the seller with the successful bidders contact email address so payment and delivery options can be arranged.
There is no fee or obligation to sell if the top bid is less than your reserve price.
Buying
If you find an item you like in the auctions you can start bidding on that item or “Buy Now”. Keep an eye on the auction to see if anyone places a bid higher than yours. When the auction closes, if the highest bid is above the reserve price, the bidder is obligated to complete the sale. Waitrade will provide the successful bidder with the sellers contact email address so payment and delivery options can be arranged.
